It was nice talking with you Tina!  I can't wait for the training.

Folks, Tina has upcoming trainings in Pittsburg (next weekend), Greenfield MA (Feb. 12th & 13th), Greenwich NY, Albany NY, and somewhere in VT....  tell your friends.

Tina, do you have the dates/fliers posted somewhere, to facilitate telling our friends?

Hi Tina-I was wondering if it's okay to call you about my friend's informational meeting in my school library in Littleton on April 30th (on announcement page) I'm afraid I got over my head helping them network to others to inform them about the meeting. I am new to Transition, getting informed, etc., but am trying to help advertise through PSA's and organizations, but could always use more advice on ways to make more connections. I may or may not want to live in one of my friend's models, but want to be a part of helping-my email is: bccornwall@comcast.net Thanks so much-

Hi Tina,

I was wondering if you were available next Thursday evening April 15th. I am trying to put together a small group of people (6-10), a mix of those from North Adams who attended your Transition talk at GCC and a few that could not make it that night. The idea is to meet at the Green Living Seminar presented weekly by the local college MCLA and after the talk meet up somewhere in town for a small bite to eat and to talk some about Transition for Northern Berkshires.
I would be happy to cover your gas to get over and back as well as something to eat.
Also, I think you would enjoy the talk at MCLA that evening as well.

Let me know what you think? Jay

Green Living Seminar at MCLA
TOPIC: Redesigning cities for the long-term health of human and natural systems
Presenter: Richard Register, Ecocity Builders, Founder
Admission: Free and open to the public
Date: 4/15 Time: 5:30 p.m.- 6:30 pm
Location: Murdock bldg, RM 218, MCLA Campus, MCLA 375 Church Street, North Adams, MA , www.mcla.edu

Hi Tina,

Looks like we will have 4 or 5 for your talk at the college on the 31st. Looking forward to it.

Also
I came across the new Keene NH Transition Initiative and it apears the formation of the group (first in New Hampshire) came from and attendee inspired by your TT talk in Putney, VT. See quote below from their site.

"A organizing committee of Keene Transition Initiatives was set up in late January after a presentation on the Transition Movement model in nearby Putney Vermont by Transition US trainer Tina Clarke...."

What goes around comes around. Let the inspiration of others be your inspiration to keep up this important work.

Live Well

hi tina,

thanks for your support of Transition Putney.

so far things are moving along well here. I'll be in touch with you the end of december as we begin to plan for Initiation Phase Jan - May. I'd love to get some input from you about best way to proceed. We are planning to have speakers, films, Awakening the Dreamer symposium, a few re-skilling workshops, and a couple of open space/ world cafe events. your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

best,
paul

Hey Tina,

How are you? Things are looking really promising here in Worcester. Lots of passion and interest already developed and looking for a way to join the already existing efforts in a larger movement of solidarity and larger efforts. I wasn't able to afford the trainging this weekend, do you think we could talk via phone or email about good "next steps" for talking to folks already involved in movments and why TT is a good meeting ground? I am hoping that Nicole, my friend steven and I will help build the core ground before the new year! :)

Thanks,
Nora

Hi Tina,
I am so sorry it took me so long to get back to you! It has been rather crazy here with school as the semester is coming to the end. I am currently trying to engage the clark community to really start taking a serious look at the issues you posed at the TT event here at Clark and trying to spark some energy around the area to seriously consider the possibility for a TT town in worcester. In terms of Brazil, I have decided that I cannot go. Many reasons went into the decision, the biggest being my Graduating in December and not having anything lined up for after graduation. Thank you for keeping that in mind though. It was truly a pleasure to meet you. You and the others who spoke at the event really opened my eyes to alot of things and I am grateful for that. Hopefully being a part of the Transition Towns Initiative wherever I go will be possible. Hope all is well with you! Let's keep in contact. Take care and keep spreading the positive energy!

Hi Tina! I hope you got the email invitation to the Brick House Community Resource Center meeting this Thursday in Turner's Falls. I think the programming that is being developed could be synthesized really well with Transition Town objectives. There is also the potential for services to be offered, etc. Please call me if you would like more info! 413 341 3953
