How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?

I am an initiating group member of the Souhegan Transition Town Network in Southern NH.

In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?

My favorite parts are the informal and multiple ways Transition goes about righting our failing society. I initially became interested as part of my concern for the environment, specifically global climate change. Now I am interested in decentralizing our various systems of governance and economic prosperity.

How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?

We sponsor movies, community suppers, foraging wilderness walks, parties. We write letters to the editor and are working on developing a time bank, public fix-it shop and virtual ride board.

I'm glad you asked this! why do you ask for birthdate? i think questions that indicate a warmth and general positive regard are the best. Questions like -- what can we do to help you? might be appropriate.
