Hi David -

Welcome to Transition Newburyport. I'm curious to hear how you first became aware of the transition movement. I hope you'll take some time to browse our last few newsletters to get a sense of things we have been involved in to date ... links to the newsletters are in the newsletter archives on the group page.

We are organizing a meeting of people in the area interested in sustainable food issues at the end of February and will be launching a film series in March.

I see that you have already been active in the discussion forum. Do you have a particular area of interest that you would like to become involved with in the community?

Hi David,

Welcome to the Transition Massachusetts social networking site. To learn more about local Transition work and become more connected, you probably want to join the Transition Newburyport group on this site.

Another great benefit of membership on this site is the exchange of ideas found in the Forum. For example, this discussion about starting a book club has generated a lot of interest.

As site administrator I encourage everyone to follow these discussions and to participate. To learn how to most easily follow discussions on the Forum, please read my post (in the Forum) titled "Let's Strengthen our Transition Massachusetts community." Click here to view that post directly. Implementing the simple changes described will make it easier to follow and participate in the conversations on this site.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.

Conrad
