Profile Information

How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I was a member of the Initiating Group for Transition Hamilton-Wenham, and attended a T4T workshop in Portland, ME, April 2009. I am now actively involved in events coordinated by the Transition Newburyport Initiating Group.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
The Transition movement represents the most promising initiative I know to address the multiple crises (Peak Oil, Climate Change, Economic Instability, Resource Depletion, etc.) confronting our world.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
As administrator of Transition Massachusetts, I hope to promote more interaction among established and emerging Transition initiatives around the Commonwealth, in addition to working in my own community.

Hi Conrad, I finally have a question. Are Transition Massachusetts and Transition Vermont connected? Are members of the two groups able to participate in each other's discussions without joining the other group too? If that is the case (or not), please point me in the right direction.

Thanks,

Licia

Hi Conrad,

We met several months ago at a film screening at Exeter. I was hoping to get in touch with you to see if you might be interested in speaking to our Environmental Action Committee students sometime this spring term.

Please email or call me when you get a chance (jwilhelm@exeter.edu or 603.777.3765).

Thanks,

Jennifer

Hi Conrad,

I'm having real trouble getting notified of any activity in my group.  I went in and turned on most of my email settings, and I still did not get notified of a new post on the Worcester Transition forum.

I went back in today and turned on every single setting except for the last one ( which says that I don't want to receive any notification).  But I have very little hope that this will make any difference.

Hi Conrad, thanks for your nice welcoming words! I am in Northhampton this fall, and I would like to take the opportunity to meet engaged people, make contacts, for my continuing work in Sweden, Now I have a very concrete question, which I don´t know if you can answer. I would very much like to go to a activity on Saturday - the goat milking - but have no car and think it might be difficult to get there by public transport. How do I send out a call to everyone, asking if anyone lives near by and could maybe offer me a ride? Thanks and warm wishes, Karin
