How are you currently involved in the Transition movement?
I am a teacher and would like to become more involved in the Transition movement.
In what ways do you identify with the Transition movement? Why are you interested?
I would like our community to be strong, sustainable, un-dependent on fossil fuels, and an all around happy place to live! I want to help make that happen.
How can you help the growth/acceptance/vitality of the Transition movement?
Teaching, learning, the ARTS! and talking to people.

Hi Catherine -

Welcome to Transition Newburyport. Did you hear about us through Christina? I see she is listed as a friend of yours. Do you have a particular field of interest at the moment or are you most interested in getting an overview of what the transition movement is all about?

We have several events coming up this month. We'll be showing the film The Power of Community several times, details to be posted later this week, and will be part of the library's showing of No Impact Man on Earth Day, April 22.

Since you are a teacher you might be interested in this article about how transition concepts were introduced to schoolchildren in the UK.

Look forward to hearing from/meeting you soon.
