Hi all!
I had a chance to attend Training for Transition at Durham, NH this weekend. It was wonderful and so inspirational!
I'd like to help Hamilton-Wenham develop a strong Transition Initiative and have some fun in the process. Anyone want to get together for a picnic at Patton Park to discuss ideas?
Or, would you be interested in attending a film on Transition issues at the library?

nanda
a few of us are having a conference call next week Nanda and on the agenda is how to make both groups (transition and green) work best for each other and the community
Hopefully, we will come up with a meeting date then as well where we can all meet to discuss

I am looking forward to our next meeting. I am wondering about how we can work with HW Green, a gropup with similar mission already established.

Thanks Conrad...very helpful.

Jerilee, you are already my friend, I think as a carry-over from the HW Green site on Ning. You can view all your friends on your "My Page." If there is someone in the group who is not yet your friend, click on that person's image to go to that person's Member Page. Under the photo at top left you will see an "Add as Friend" button.

That said, the primary advantage I see to having a Ning friend is using the built-in mail system. Maybe someone can enlighten me to other benefits.

Well, I can not seem to figure out how to add/ask for friends here. So to all of you Would you please be my friend??

No worries Jerilee! You were definitely there in spirit! And you are right on that it is *our* group. Everyone is welcome, especially all people in the Hamilton-Wenham community, as well as neighboring communities and other interested folks.
